Story Writing Contest

Since lately we've been having a lot of graphic contests, we thought this time we could organize a bit of a different kind of contest.

As you've probably already understood the point of this contest will be, for each partecipant, to write a story...
I hope many of you will partecipate and I wish you all good luck in this!


Rules

- Time limit: until January 1st 2008
(after that date the related voting poll will be set up)

- The lenght of the story is up to you

- As for the genre, you can choose between
  *Sci-Fi
  *Fantasy
  *Dramatic
  *Comedy
  *Historical
  *Romance
  *Horror
 You can also mix these genres if you feel like doing it.

- The story has to be written in english

- It may not contain heavily unappropriate content (if you have doubts about your subject being appropriate or not, feel free to contact me in private and I shall answer you).

Prize

The winners (first 3 places) will be enlisted in the Hall of Fame.
Also the winners (first 1, 2 or 3 depending on the number of partecipants) will get a personalized badge/banner
that indicates them as winners of the 2007 story writing contest on forcefighters.com
They'll be able to use that badge/banner wherever they please.

Unappropriate Material would Consider I assume : Drugs, Excessive Swearing, Strong Sexual Language or Imagery, Graphic Violence?

Also, How many Stories can One Person Submit?  Cause I have Lots if it's Unlimited... Which wouldnt be Nice I guess to everyone forced to read all XD I also posted a Story on the Arts Board, Does that one count?

To answer your questions:
- unappropriate meterial would include pornography, excessive referrings to drugs use, extreme stuff. Let's say illegal stuff is generally not ok, violence is usually not a problem. For any case, anyway, when you're in doubt you can ask me personally.

- there is no limit to the number of stories you can submit. To submit a story for the contest you have first to post it in a separate thread in this Art and Writings board, then notify in this topic that you've submitted a story for the contest and post a link to it.

Length of the story is not relevant (if the story is meant to be long but it's not complete you can aswell post a part of it;
instead,if the story is very short, it is hopefully meant to be complete)

There is no entries limits (you can post how many stories you want)
